Mario Colin

  The Magoffin mural is considered Mario Colin's masterpiece, which was located at Magoffin and Eucalyptus streets in south El Paso, on the side of a sweat shop. It was destroyed several years ago, and now a very amateurish, cartoonish mural covers where it was located. This is the mural that is in the chicano studies textbook used around the country, that has been used in Ford commercials, that is found in mural art books from around the country, and was featured in an hour long Mexican tv program about four Chicano artists.
