SIMON

Was 6 foot 4

with a thick scots accent,

HATE tattooed across his knuckles.

Once had a pro in his cab

who kicked the fire extinguisher,

emerged sprayed white -

"Only half of it spunk!"

Had a permanent grin

glassed in the side of his cheek,

was glad his wife overdosed

but close to tears

when she poisoned the dogs.

Simon never had her name 'inked over';

and after one late shift

turned left out the gate,

avoided his empty house,

took the road leading

anywhere but to a future...........
